In order to improve their performance and further develop the techinque, six members of Serbian Judo National Team visited Japan, the craddle of this martial art,  headed by their coach Mr. Aleksandar Trpković.

Besides friendly matches with Japanese athletes,  they had matches with players from Poland, Canada, Russia, Italy, Chile, Netherlands etc. They had trainings and judo excersizes in the city of Tsukuba, where they were also accomodated thanks to their Japanese hosts.

Serbian „judoka” also visited the Embassy where they had a friendly talk with Mr. Glišić, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and Mr. Grbić, Attaché. Mr. Ranko Popović, former FC Tokyo Coach,who is set to be appointed Manager of „Cerezo” football team in Osaka next season also attended the meeting.
