Serbian Embassy participated at the  ‘Beach Volleyball in Shinagawa’ international festival which took place on Sunday, March 16, in Oimachi, Shinagawa-city.

Shinagawa City will be the venue for the beach volleyball matches at the Tokyo Olimpics in 2020, so a special court has been set up in Oimachi, using a huge amount of white sand with beach volleball demonstarions and matches with famous Japanese players.

Embassies and Consulates situated in Shinagawa-city set up their booths with foods on sale.
Serbian booth had tourist pamphlets, souvenirs etc. on display with  pastries and cookies made by Embassy’s staff.
With kind cooperation of „ SL Japan Co. Ltd.”, importer of high quality Serbian jams with no sugar added („Grandma’s Secret” brand), we also had Serbian jams of many varieties on sale.

We consider this event a great success since our  booth attracted wide attention and was visited by a great number of Japanese and Serbian citizens. We had also the pleasure to welcome Ms. Emiko Yamada, Deputy Mayor of Shinagawa City at our booth.
