Nenad Glišić, Ambassador - Designate and Nemanja Grbić, Attaché, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Hirotaka Tateishi,  President of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) on March 20th, to discuss future cooperation of TUFS with Universities in Serbia and other topics of mutual concern.

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies signed Cooperation Agreeement with the University of Belgrade in 2010 and currently holds one semestral Serbian language program. Ambassador Glišić and President Tateishi discussed how to further promote cooperation between Univeristies and Serbian language program itself.

It was also agreed that Ambassador holds lecture on Serbia at the TUFS in the forthcoming period.

Ambassador Glišić specially expresed his appreciation and thanks to the University and its dance troupe „Silangan“ whose members perform Serbian folk dances for several years now. „Silangan“ group visited Belgrade twice already, last time in December 2013 performing Serbian dances in Belgrade and Pozarevac. They also performed many times at our Embassy and various cultural events.
