For the sixth consecutive year the Embassy participated at the annual Oi Dontaku Summer Festival (25-26 August) held in Shinagawa-ku. Many citizens who visited the stall learned about Serbia for the first time.
At Serbia stall visitors could buy Granny’s Secret jams and Foodex pindjur which can be bought in Japan, as well as the book by Japanese authorsセルビアを知るための60章 and souvenirs with traditional Serbian motifs. Taste of the Balkans t-shirts and bags were also sold.
Students of Toyo Eiwa University and their teacher Ms. Saori Machida for third consecutive year helped the Embassy staff in promotion of Serbia. For this year, the students offered cold soda with Serbian raspberries and blueberries. Soda was accompanied by the message made by the students about Serbian raspberries which are one of the highest quality and most delicious ones in the world. Many visitors also took photos with panels with national Serbian costumes made by the students.
